Shadowclan cats are mainly seen by the other clans as dark and fox-hearted warriors. However, Shadowclan cats are some of the most cunning and think out their situations very well. They can be cocky at times, as they are normally very large and relish the thought of fighting. Overall, Shadowclan cats are stealthy and dark, but caring and kind to their friends and clan.


Shadowclan cats are normally seen eating frogs and snakes in the forest territories, but in the lake territories, they have adapted to eating forest creatures such as voles, squirrels, forest hares, mice, birds, and the occasional snake or frog.


Shadowclan's territory is on the North-West section of the map. They are borderlined with Thunderclan to the East and Riverclan to the South. There is a summer twoleg path within their territory as well as a twoleg summer home. They live within a dense pine forest with a small pond adjacent to the camp. They share tunnels with Riverclan.


Shadowclan cats are extremely skilled in the ways of fighting, using stealth and size to their advantage. They are quick and cunning and think out their situations in battle very well compared to other cats. They deal great damage to their opponents using rather long claws and strong forelimbs. They do well by using stealth and swiftness to their advantage, normally using outside resources such as sticks, trees, or rocks to their advantage which other clans normally do not do. They are excellent at climbing pine trees and the occasional oak tree, akin to Thunderclan. They have been known to accept loners into their clan seeing as most of the loners within Shadowclan already have the skills they require to fight. Most Shadowclan cats have powerful legs which they use to fight and travel. They are vulnerable in open areas or water in which Windclan and Riverclan dwell.


Shadowclan cats have been known to overthink situations, thinking that a cat they are fighting may do one thing but them they end up doing another. They have been known to be overly aggressive and throw themselves into fights too often that could end up in them or their clan being injured. They have also been known to be corrupted by leaders at times, causing the other clans to dislike them greatly. Shadowclan cats do not do well in open areas due to the fact that there is nowhere to hide or use to their advantage. Their dark pelts make it very hard for them to use stealth to their advantage in open areas. Shadowclan cats are also vulnerable in the water, due to their normally large size, the cats that have grown up in the lake territories do not know how to swim well and could easily get injured or drown in deep waters or if they are fighting in the water. Shadowclan cats also have a great disliking for kittypets and other cats with soft lives, also edging them into battle frequently with clans such as Thunderclan.
